I particularly like what this musician wrote on the score, “Not too fast”, because sometimes one should enjoy savoring the details. With memories and cherished photos, one can take the time.

A Charity Art Exhibition to Benefit North Beach Citizens

North Beach Citizens’ Creative Events Committee is pleased to announce Reflections 2012, an art exhibition taking place from March 31, 2012, through April 26, 2012, at The Cannery located in Fisherman’s Wharf. This exhibition benefits North Beach Citizens, a non-profit organization that utilizes the talents of the North Beach community to innovatively address the needs of its homeless and low-income citizens in an atmosphere of trust, integrity, and respect. With exquisite lines on mylar, David draws inspiration from the torn, worn and used out on the street. We walked for an hour in the Mission District, catching up and talking future goals. Revisiting the old neighborhood, it felt good to be back for David, having just completed a successful show at a vital and vibrant multi use contemporary art/live performance space, a.Muse art gallery on Alabama Street. The triple threat Paige Picard was in front of the camera last week. Currently, she’s appearing in The Tennessee Menagerie, at the 6th St Playhouse in Sonoma County.
Tennessee William’s own life as a son to a single mother and brother to a mentally disabled sister, is the entry point to a play where powerful women, matriarchs, and tragic female victims all take the stage.
With the courage to work for change, Paige has the looks, skills and the heart to go far. A triple threat indeed.
