With an intimate group of family and friends Cheri and Ryan exchanged vows in the gorgeous gardens of Madrona Manor. Originally from Sonoma County, it was a dream come true for Cheri to return to get married at the Manor house. Nestled under trees, with lush gardens and an expansive veranda, Cheri shined in this elegant place. I left the couple enjoying dinner, laughs and family.

Cambria's truly historic hilltop chapel set amongst pines and oaks, is a quintessential charming white, wood-sided little church. A perfect place for an intimate wedding. Sheryl and Kurt exchanged rings and vows. With plans to return to this California coastal town, and celebrate an anniversary or two.
On a clear day over looking the Bay, Rebecca and Cody married at the Bodega Inn and Tides. Here is a small collection from their day.
A sunset wedding on the first day of fall. Lookout Ridge provided endless views for Beth and Dale's wedding celebration. As the valley below prepared for harvest, family and friends gathered on the hillside, all to witness a ceremony ministered by a dear friend. Cocktails on the lookout before dinner in the cave. Toasts were made with passion, and love filled the air. The soul was evident as, popular Atlanta based vocalist Guyton Maurice, a close friend of the Bride and Groom, serenaded all. Accompanied by pianist David Reeb, songs rang out all night. The groom and a guest performed, friends sang, couples danced and the kids made s'mores. A lovely warm evening on Lookout Ridge

Michael and Ariel's engagement day September, 13 2012 Overlooking the Lancaster Estate, Michael surprised Ariel with a stunning ring, and she said yes* In from New York the couple were enjoying early fall in the Wine Country. It was on to a private tasting in the Library, before a picnic on the grounds. We grabbed some pictures along the way.
In the heart of Warren Woods, Danielle and Bill tied the knot. They brought their own unique style to their Sonoma County wedding. Family flew in from the East Coast, the Bride's sorority sisters were there from Ithaca and Bill's six brothers were happy to witness the day. Wishing them all the best.
Sonoma County Weddings are packed with details. While everything may appear seamless, from invitations to table settings, each detail holds meaning. Wedding favors and boutonnières, flowers, fine Sonoma County Wine and Champagne for the tables, special touches of old, new and blue; traditions are upheld with a twist by the modern bride.
From Arista Winery to Madrona Manor, from farmhouse to estate, it's an all-stage pass as your photographer. Sonoma County Weddings thrill and delight the senses, emotions run deep and families come together. I recently found this quote by Sivananda which touches on the importance of all the details working together.
From the smallest detail in your ring, to the grandness of the venue, together we capture your day
"A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching."
I particularly like what this musician wrote on the score, "Not too fast", because sometimes one should enjoy savoring the details. With memories and cherished photos, one can take the time.
"To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things". Ansel Adams

Nestled in the northern tip of the Alexander Valley outside of the town of Geyserville, the Vineyard Club was the venue Sophie and Allen chose for their wedding day. Simple elegance, style and family love defined the day.
Sarah & Craig wanted to shoot their engagement session at Craig's old school, Santa Rosa High. Now living in the South Bay, the couple have set a fall date for their gorgeous Sonoma County wedding.
Both warmed right up to the camera and within minutes were laughing, joking and moving around. Time flew and this was a session that I didn't want to end, two hours passed, we had a collection of great images and sore faces from all the smiles. Making our way through the Junior College Campus and using the fantastic collection of sculptures as props. We chased the sun before the couple headed for dinner Sonoma county engagement sessions are spontaneous and fun events. Especially when your out with Tibidabo photography.
It was Liat’s birthday and we headed for Julliard Park. The sun was setting on a gorgeous day. Ryan and Liat spent the whole day together, so squeezing me in for a quick photo shoot on the way to dinner sounded just the ticket. Ryan , a very talented artist, is someone I met through the local art community here in Santa Rosa: the SOFA district; and through him I've met the lovely Liat. They are heading North to tie the knot later in the year, as they are recently engaged.Together they design and install gardens, create landscapes and everything in between. The current exhibit at the gallery of Sea & Heaven has a great painting by Ryan. Looks like there are a few opportunities to come out and support the local art community and its artists. Follow the link to see what Ryan is up to.
Dancing in the rain We decided to go on in spite of the rainy forecast; it wasn’t long before it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. We were off; I was shooting, they were dancing. From Railroad Square to Downtown Santa Rosa, Tara and Daniel were happily distracted from the camera I’m sure. They seemed very comfortable twirling away up the street. I was delighted to say the least. Monthly dance events in San Francisco and working hard on their moves, means these guys can get their swing on; the lens loved it. They are currently looking for a place together out in the country. A shared passion for cultivation and community through growing, leads Daniel to his ideal business to design & implement gardens. I think they are off to a good life.
