7 Best Reasons For A Wedding Album

1. They tell a story: We all have unique stories to tell and share. Special times and occasions that define who we are. Your wedding day is one of those times. with families coming together to celebrate your union.

2. They last: The wedding albums we offer are custom made by hand here in the USA. Digital files come with most of our packages but, holding the album and going through the pages….it's incomparable.

3. They are tangible: Having something real to hold after your wedding day, besides your spouse is unparalleled.  Memories give our life our meaning, yet they fade over time. Let the photos transport you back  each time you look. All the planning you went into: the details, the flowers and the dress, all exquisitely captured from the glow of your day.

4. They are traditional: With more and more customizable options available, they allow you to hold with tradition and blaze your own trail. Wedding albums are old and new again. Your collection of images tells the story of your day. Wrapped in linen or Italian leather, albums can speak of contemporary elegance.

5. They are collectible: Wedding albums become part of your family heritage and legacy. Just as images become more valuable over time, so does your album as each new generation sees it afresh.

6. They are customizable: As I mentioned, there are so many ways to tell your story. Options including covers, colors and more, all to tell your story your way. Beyond a bridal wedding album, keepsake albums can be created for parents as well.

7. You'll be glad you did.

Cheri and Ryan Madrona Manor Wedding

With an intimate group of family and friends Cheri and Ryan exchanged vows in the gorgeous gardens of Madrona Manor. Originally from Sonoma County, it was a dream come true for Cheri to return to get married at the Manor house. Nestled under trees, with lush gardens and an expansive veranda, Cheri shined in this elegant place. I left the couple enjoying dinner, laughs and family.

Love, Passion, Soul

A sunset wedding on the first day of fall. Lookout Ridge provided endless views for Beth and Dale's wedding celebration. As the valley below prepared for harvest, family and friends gathered on the hillside, all to witness a ceremony ministered by a dear friend. Cocktails on the lookout before dinner in the cave. Toasts were made with passion, and love filled the air. The soul was evident as, popular Atlanta based vocalist Guyton Maurice, a close friend of the Bride and Groom, serenaded all. Accompanied by pianist David Reeb, songs rang out all night. The groom and a guest performed, friends sang, couples danced and the kids made s'mores. A lovely warm evening on Lookout Ridge

Danielle and Bill, Warren Woods Occidental

In the heart of Warren Woods, Danielle and Bill tied the knot. They brought their own unique style to their Sonoma County wedding. Family flew in from the East Coast, the Bride's sorority sisters were there from Ithaca and Bill's six brothers were happy to witness the day. Wishing them all the best.

Sonoma Wedding Details

Sonoma County Weddings are packed with details. While everything may appear seamless, from invitations to table settings, each detail holds meaning. Wedding favors and boutonnières, flowers, fine Sonoma County Wine and Champagne for the tables, special touches of old, new and blue; traditions are upheld with a twist by the modern bride.

From Arista Winery to Madrona Manor, from farmhouse to estate, it's an all-stage pass as your photographer. Sonoma County Weddings thrill and delight the senses, emotions run deep and families come together. I recently found this quote by Sivananda which touches on the importance of all the details working together.

From the smallest detail in your ring, to the grandness of the venue, together we capture your day

"A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching."

All you need is love

I particularly like what this musician wrote on the score, "Not too fast", because sometimes one should enjoy savoring the details. With memories and cherished photos, one can take the time.

"To photograph truthfully and effectively is to see beneath the surfaces and record the qualities of nature and humanity which live or are latent in all things". Ansel Adams

Ellie & Keith at Cavallo Point

The circle was complete, Ellie & Keith tied the knot on the porch at Cavallo point. An intimate group of family and friends looked on as Jane a close friend, today's officient, and the person responsible for introducing Ellie & Keith to each other, presided over an elegant ceremony. Toast's and readings were made, Lucy the Jack Russell brought the rings, and the service was sealed with a kiss. It was on to the Farley Bar for appetizers and drinks. Dinner was served in a private room at the Murray Circle Restaurant . Norwegian toast's and songs rang out at one point. Ellie's father had everyone in stitches with story's and toasts, tales of Manhattans in Manhattan, and small Northern Mill towns. We finished our day with a quick photo shoot on the hill over looking the Golden Gate Bridge. These old bunker's were just their style, great textures, colors and details. Lucy posed for one and I was on my way.

Gentlemen Please! Sonoma Weddings

Sonoma county weddings where  the groomsmen, friends and fathers, all play their parts celebrating, supporting and standing buy our Groom. From boys to men, building life long relationships, they embark on another milestone together as they take part in the wedding day. Restored motor bikes, whiskey flasks and LSU on the iphone {don't want to miss the game you know} the guys bring their own spin and style to the day. The cufflinks that function as a way to hold one’s shirt cuff together are also a vehicle for a confident  man who is interested in his own fashion to express himself and show the world his air of breezy confidence. The boutonniere are the male equivalent of the bride's bouquet, both a centuries old tradition often thought to ward off evil spirits and bad smells, today there in as many styles and colors as you can imagine. Like the cologne and the haircut these details give that touch of elegance to your men.

The majestic Redwoods of California are yet another stunning backdrop in the heart of Wine Country. Sonoma wedding photography is often best when you incorporate the scene, a sense of place. From Trentadue winery, to the back roads of the Russian River and Occidental. Madrona Manor in Healdsburg, our Gentlemen this year have been exactly that. I've had a the real pleasure to capture these images along side, with and for some great photography studios. Tibidabo Photography, Studio Tia & Claire, Maria Villano. All great friends and photographers.

Sarah & Craig Engagement session

Sarah & Craig wanted to shoot their engagement session at Craig's old school, Santa Rosa High. Now living in the South Bay, the couple have set a fall date for their gorgeous Sonoma County wedding.

Both warmed right up to the camera and within minutes were laughing, joking and moving around. Time flew and this was a session that I didn't want to end, two hours passed, we had a collection of great images and sore faces from all the smiles. Making our way through the Junior College Campus and using the fantastic collection of sculptures as props. We chased the sun before the couple headed for dinner Sonoma county engagement sessions are spontaneous and fun events. Especially when your out with Tibidabo photography.
